Throughout the long river of history, the painted enamel floral-pattern spoon from the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty shines like a radiant pearl, exuding a unique charm. The spoon’s body features a bright yellow enamel base, reminiscent of a warm golden sun, meticulously adorned with vibrant floral patterns of peonies, sunflowers, chrysanthemums, and more. The peonies bloom in delicate splendor, as if swaying gently in the breeze; the sunflowers dazzle brilliantly, embracing the sunlight with passion; the chrysanthemums exude an elegant tranquility, emanating a subtle yet enchanting fragrance.
Along the handle, small blossoms are scattered like stars twinkling in the night sky. At the center of the handle, intricate pink fret patterns intertwine with flowing wave motifs—the frets resembling agile musical notes, and the waves like a murmuring stream. Together, they dance in harmony, lending the spoon an aura of dynamism and grace.
On the base of the spoon, the four-character mark “Qianlong Nian Zhi” (Made in the Qianlong Period) is inscribed in bold, regular script, its strokes firm and powerful, as if recounting the noble heritage of this piece. Though small in size, the spoon showcases a rich yet orderly composition of floral patterns within its compact form, a testament to the unparalleled craftsmanship of enamel artisans during the Qianlong era. It leaves one in profound admiration for the wisdom and creativity of ancient artisans. 👍
